Google has given subscribers to Google AI Pro an unexpected free boost to storage. Head of Google Photos, Google One, and AI Subscriptions Shimrit Ben-Yair took to X to share the news that storage is jumping from 2TB to 5TB without an increase in price.
The free extra storage is clearly good news, but Google has much more to offer paying subscribers in terms of new features and capabilities.
In a fairly substantial thread on X, Ben-Yair starts off by announcing: “Sweet news for our Google AI Pro subscribers! We know your memories and projects need space to grow, so we’re expanding Google AI Pro’s storage offering from 2TB to 5TB — at no additional cost. Now you have a little extra room to create more with Google AI and securely store more of the memories that matter most”.
