As if you needed more of an excuse to buy a shiny MacBook, Amazon has just listed a range of record-low price cuts across all three of the latest models.
That means a great discount on the MacBook Pro M5, the MacBook Air M5, and even the brand new MacBook Neo. Whatever you need, the retailer has a deal for you ahead of this year’s Memorial Day.
Starting with the MacBook Neo, you can currently pick up Apple‘s budget laptop for just $589 (was $600) right now. Not the biggest price cut in the world, but I’d take a $10 saving on a laptop that’s already outstanding value.
Where the discounts ramp up is with the latest MacBook Air 13, which is currently $949 (was $1,099) on the baseline 16GB/512GB configuration. This discount addresses our main issue with what’s otherwise an amazing laptop — the fact that this iteration is pricier than the last. With this deal, however, you’re saving a bundle.
Finally, check out the MacBook Pro for $1,499 (was $1,699) if you need a high-end machine. We’ve seen this price on one occasion before, but it’s another record-low price that’s well worth considering. With $200 off, you’re cutting down that hefty price significantly here.

What’s the best MacBook to buy right now?
The MacBook Pro is the best MacBook you can buy, but it’s likely overkill if you’re not going to be doing demanding work on your machine. For daily use, both the MacBook Air and MacBook Neo are fantastic choices for most people.
The Neo features the same chipset as the iPhone 17 Pro, which, on paper, would suggest it’s a much weaker performer than the others. In reality, however, even the baseline 8GB RAM / 256GB configuration can provide decent performance if you’re just using your machine for the basics like streaming, browsing social media, or writing content.
The MacBook Air is a great compromise if you think you need a little more headroom from your machine. It’s powerful enough for creative tasks like photo editing, music production, or coding and provides excellent battery life overall. It’s a little thinner and more portable than the Pro, and features silent operation thanks to its fanless design.
The MacBook Pro, with its built-in fans, really unleashes the potential of the latest Apple chipsets, by comparison. As the name suggests, it’s the natural choice for ‘professional’ workloads because you not only get more performance headroom, but more ports, a better display, and better speakers. It’s pricier, but again, if you want a laptop that can rival much bigger desktops in terms of power, this is it.
