UGREEN has announced a new line of Thunderbolt 5 docking stations in Europe, including three Maxidok models built for higher bandwidth connectivity and expanded desktop setups. The hardware targets users who rely on multiple displays, high-speed storage, and extensive peripheral connections.
The new range expands the company’s Revodok series with Thunderbolt 5 support, promising higher bandwidth and lower latency than previous docking solutions.
UGREEN’s Maxidok lineup includes three certified Thunderbolt 5 models intended for different purposes.
The flagship device is the Maxidok 17-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock. As you can tell from the name, this model includes 17 ports covering data, video output, networking, storage expansion, and power delivery.
It supports bandwidth up to 120Gbps and includes a built-in M.2 SSD slot to allow users to access and edit large 4K files directly from the dock rather than relying on slower external drives.
Power delivery reaches up to 240W in total, allowing laptops, phones, and other devices to charge at the same time. The dock supports advanced display configurations, including a single 8K display at 60Hz or dual 6K displays at 60Hz on macOS systems.
Windows systems can run up to three independent displays and will be useful for editing, development, or multitasking.
The second model, the Maxidok 10-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 desktop hub, offers the same high-speed connectivity, but in a more compact design.
It includes dual Thunderbolt 5 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and support for multiple displays, and delivers 140W of total power, with up to 100W available for charging a laptop.
Thunderbolt 5 dock for Mac mini M4
UGREEN also introduced a 10-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 dock built specifically for Apple’s Mac mini M4. This sits flush with the Mac mini chassis while allowing airflow around the system.
The dock supports dual extended displays on macOS without third-party display drivers and output configurations include a single 8K display at 60Hz or dual 6K displays at 60Hz.
It also includes built-in M.2 SSD storage expansion, USB-A ports, SD and microSD 4.0 card readers, and a hybrid cooling system that combines an aluminum heatsink with fan control, helping to keep things cool during sustained workloads.
The Maxidok 17-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock is priced at €459.99/£419.99, while the Maxidok 10-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 hub is €299.99/£249.99.
Both models are available for pre-order here, and will be available on Amazon and other retailers later this month. The Mac mini dock is expected to arrive at some point in the spring.
