It’s still my go-to for long writing sessions and is holding up well after years of use and thousands of words, making this Cyber Monday deal perhaps the easiest shopping recommendation I’ll make all year.

Today’s best Logitech K860 Ergo Cyber Monday deal

The headline feature of the Logitech Ergo K860 is its split layout, which cuts the QWERTY keyboard in half. Its plastic base is also molded into an arch shape, which combines with the split layout to offer your hands and wrists a much more natural resting position than a flat keyboard or laptop. It connects with a USB transmitter or with up to three different devices at once over Bluetooth.

As someone on the taller side, I appreciate that the Ergo K860 lets me sit with my shoulders in a wider stance, which helps to keep cramps and tensions away after long writing sessions. And I’m also a big fan of the mentioned padded wrist rest, which spans the entire length of the keyboard and can even be elevated for additional comfort.

What’s great about the Ergo K860 is that it’s also a very feature-rich keyboard, with a full row of function/media keys and even a full numpad on the right-hand side, making this a good pick for Excel users. The keys are chiclet-based and offer a satisfying resistance and decent key travel – I’ve always found it fast and reliable, but I’m not much of a mechanical keyboard fan, so your mileage may vary.

I’ll also concede that it takes a bit of time to get used to the split layout if you’re coming from a regular keyboard, but to be honest, this is a small price to pay for the comfort and posture benefits of using a split keyboard. I’d frankly recommend this keyboard at twice its retail price, so in my mind, £59.99 is an absolute steal.
