Remo Uncover report

Remo Software has launched Remo Uncover, a new Windows utility designed to simplify digital investigations by collecting and organizing system activity into structured reports that are easier to review.

The forensics tool helps users understand how a laptop or desktop PC was used over a specific period by gathering key traces from across the operating system and presenting them in organized action logs, reducing the need to manually dig through raw data.

Digital investigations often depend on artifacts scattered across multiple Windows components, including event logs, system timelines, device histories, and user account records. While this information is available within the operating system, it can be fragmented and difficult to interpret without specialist knowledge. Remo Uncover is designed as a more accessible way to collect and structure that evidence.

“Digital data can make or break investigations. The evidence on PC is buried across multiple logs & system traces. Remo Uncover is a basic forensics tool which makes this raw data easy to understand,” said Omer Faiyaz, CEO, Remo Software.

The tool runs targeted scans across commonly referenced Windows data sources. These include event logs, device connection histories, timeline activity, and user session traces.

Remo Uncover results

The results are grouped into clear categories to help users identify patterns such as unusual login behavior, repeated failed authentication attempts, and external storage usage.

The software also focuses on device activity, including USB insertions and connected peripheral history. In addition, it captures system behavior indicators, such as key event log entries and configuration changes that could point to persistence mechanisms or other anomalies.

Network-related details, including adapter information and configuration signals relevant to endpoint posture, are also included in the reports.

By structuring these findings into organized logs, Remo Uncover will reduce manual effort and lower the risk of oversight when reviewing activity across a system. Instead of reviewing isolated entries across multiple Windows utilities, users receive consolidated documentation that can be used to confirm suspicions or explore irregularities further.

You can download Remo Uncover from here. It is available to buy for $9.97.
