Apple’s Activation Lock is designed to prevent stolen or lost iPhones from being reused without the original owner’s credentials. However, for some buyers of second-hand devices, that protection can become a barrier if they can’t contact the previous owner. A new update to iToolab UnlockGo iOS software claims to offer a workaround for users facing the “iPhone locked to owner” screen on recent models, including the iPhone 17 and iPhone XR.
According to iToolab Co., Ltd, UnlockGo iOS V6.3.1 supports bypassing iCloud Activation Lock on devices running up to iOS 26. The tool is compatible with a wide range of iPhone models, including the iPhone 11-17 (inclusive), and XR, as well as certain iPad and iPod touch devices.
Activation Lock is tied to Apple’s Find My feature and requires the Apple ID and password originally used to set up the device. If those details are unavailable, Apple typically advises users to contact the previous owner or provide proof of purchase.
Third-party tools such as UnlockGo are offered as alternatives when those options are not possible.

UnlockGo iOS is an all-in-one unlocking utility that can remove several types of restrictions, including screen passcodes, Mobile Device Management locks, Screen Time passcodes, and iCloud Activation Lock.
The company claims its latest version can remove the activation lock without requiring a password or jailbreak, and once the lock is removed, the device can be restarted or reset without being relocked to the previous account.
The process outlined by the company involves downloading the Windows version of UnlockGo iOS, selecting the “Unlock iCloud Activation Lock” option, connecting the locked iPhone to a computer via cable, and starting the unlocking procedure.
iToolab says the device can be unlocked within minutes. A Mac version with the same feature set is planned for future release.
iToolab’s unlocking method is based on an advanced algorithm and claims a success rate of up to 99 percent. As with most third-party unlocking tools, results can vary depending on device model, iOS version, and activation status.
UnlockGo iOS V6.3.1 for Windows is currently available through iToolab’s website. The software is offered under several license plans, including a 1 Device Plan for $19.95, a 1 Month Plan for $35.95, a 1 Year Plan for $39.95, and a Lifetime Plan for $49.95. A Business Plan is also listed, although pricing details vary. Registered users are eligible for lifetime updates, while unregistered users can download a trial version.
