Governor Glenn Youngkin Joins ORBCOMM to Celebrate New Global Headquarters in Loudoun County

, /PRNewswire/ — ORBCOMM, a global leader in industrial IoT solutions, today celebrated the opening of its relocated global headquarters in Loudoun County, Virginia, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Governor Glenn Youngkin and ORBCOMM CEO Sameer Agrawal.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin joins ORBCOMM CEO Sameer Agrawal to cut the ribbon on the company’s new global headquarters in Loudoun County, Va., on Aug. 14, 2025. The relocation will create new jobs and includes a $500,000 investment to help combat the smuggling of drugs and other illicit goods into the United States in shipping containers.

The move positions ORBCOMM for continued growth in the Commonwealth, bringing new jobs to Virginia and strengthening the company’s mission to digitalize containerized trade and help secure global supply chains. As part of the relocation, ORBCOMM is investing $500,000 in initiatives to combat the smuggling of drugs and other illicit goods in shipping containers.
