More people with a Fitbit Premium subscription are being given access to the public preview of its personal health coach. Having initially limited availability to the US, Google is now giving other countries Fitbit’s personal health coach experience.
The company says that eligible users will receive an update within their Fitbit app, adding that “we can’t wait for more people to try it out and give us feedback along their health journey”.
Google says: “Starting today and over the next few weeks, the personal health coach (which is already available to eligible Fitbit Premium users in the U.S.) will now be available in English to Fitbit Premium users in more countries, including the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. The current Public Preview experience will also expand at the same time to iOS users in these countries as well as the U.S.”.
In an announcement posted to the Fitbit community, Google also says:
Hey Fitbit Community,
Great news! Public Preview’s personal health coach now supports iOS Premium users.

Keep the feedback coming!
A huge thank you to everyone for your continuous feedback across our community and app. Your insights are essential in guiding our product and feature development process.
We’re launching this as a preview so we can get your input and feedback. Once you’ve joined the Public Preview, please use the dedicated Fitbit Community board to share feedback, get updates on new features, and get support within the Fitbit Community – we’re listening. On the board, you’ll find regular updates on which features are and are not supported in the preview, known issues, and recently launched features.
In addition to sharing your feedback here, we also encourage you to provide feedback in the app. You may submit your feedback from any tab where you see a thumbs up or down. Google is committed to actively reviewing feedback, which will inform future features and application functionality.
