- As AI-driven attacks on financial institutions accelerate, Finzly weaves security, monitoring and continuous assurance natively into the infrastructure powering its BankOS
- The capability protects operations, applications, compliance, and development while giving banks greater intelligence and confidence across the platform.
- Continuous, AI-driven assurance strategy replaces point-in-time reviews, giving banks ongoing evidence that critical controls are working
, /PRNewswire/ — Finzly, the banking transformation company, today announced the launch of Assure, an AI-powered security and assurance layer as part of its Agentic Galaxy suite of AI capabilities, powering the infrastructure for BankOS, its modern operating system for banks. Rather than relying on point AI solutions stitched together after deployment, banks running BankOS get AI-powered security, compliance monitoring and operational resilience woven into the infrastructure they run their banking innovation on.
The launch comes as AI changes the threat landscape for banks. Autonomous AI agents are now carrying out multi-stage attacks against live production systems. According to TrendAI’s Modern Bank Heists 2026 report, AI-enabled attacks on financial institutions rose 89% year over year, and 67% of institutions reported attackers actively working to counter defenders during live incidents.
“Banking is entering a new era where attacks happen at machine speed, requiring that intelligence, innovation, and trust evolve together,” said Booshan Rengachari, founder and CEO of Finzly. “BankOS was created to help financial institutions continuously evolve, and never has that been more needed than with AI. We introduced Agentic Galaxy to transform banking operations with AI, and with Assure we are extending that intelligence into security and resilience, helping banks innovate faster while maintaining the trust their customers depend on.”
A key element of Assure is continuous assurance. Banks need more than trust in their technology providers; they need evidence that critical controls are operating as expected. AI can help continuously monitor signals, identify anomalies, test controls, surface potential gaps, and expand the scope of assurance without adding the cost and manual effort associated with traditional processes. Today, a human remains in the loop as Finzly refines and tunes these processes, with fully automated actions on the roadmap as the technology matures.
Finzly Assure’s capabilities give banks:
- Faster detection and response to threats, with AI accelerating investigation and triage
- Continuous monitoring of attack surface risks rather than point-in-time reviews
- Security testing that covers both traditional and AI-assisted development
- Ongoing compliance evidence, collected automatically instead of assembled manually
Supro Ghose, Chief Information Security Officer at Finzly, added, “As financial institutions embrace AI, security must evolve alongside innovation. As AI security researcher Roman V. Yampolskiy has written, “our best hope to defend against AI-enabled hacking is by using AI” Assure represents our commitment to making security and intelligence foundational elements of BankOS, helping banks operate with greater confidence in an increasingly complex digital environment.”
Finzly Assure extends the AI foundation the company laid with Agentic Galaxy, launched in October 2025 to bring AI-powered capabilities to payment operations and banking workflows. Since then, Finzly has expanded agentic AI across BankOS, spanning operations, software development, testing and customer experiences.
About Finzly
Finzly offers BankOS, a modern operating system for banks that serves as an innovation core, free from legacy core dependencies. It manages traditional and tokenized money and its movement across ACH, wires, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, and other payment rails through ISO 20022-native processing, all on a single platform with advanced payment processing and a unified ledger. This gives banks a simpler path to modernize payments, launch new services, and create growth channels across embedded banking, FX, and payments.
