Circuits Integrated Secures Pre-Seed Funding from Evercurious to Accelerate CI-ONE Commercialization

Investment supports CIH’s transition from design services to semiconductor product company and advances roadmap for highly integrated RF solutions

ATHENS, Greece, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Circuits Integrated Hellas (CIH), a pioneering innovator in advanced satellite communication (Satcom) technology, today announced it has secured pre-seed funding from Athens-based deep-tech venture capital firm Evercurious VC. The investment, which closed in July, will support CIH’s commercialization of CI-ONE, its first semiconductor product family, and represents a key milestone in CIH’s evolution from a provider of advanced design services to a product company.

Announced earlier this year, CI-ONE is a family of small-form-factor integrated power amplifier (PA) + single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch modules designed for Ka-band applications. The devices combine functions conventionally implemented as discrete components into a single compact, surface-mount module, reducing size, cost, component count and design complexity for next-generation Satcom systems.

The Evercurious investment will help CIH advance CI-ONE toward market availability, supporting the company as it moves from technology and product development into commercialization. The CI-ONE family is planned for general availability in Q4 2026, with early engagement and sampling programs beginning ahead of general release.

Advancing Integrated RF Technology
CI-ONE collapses into a single, compact, surface-mount module the discrete power amplifiers and RF switches used in conventional switched Ka-band transmit front-ends—creating a single, optimized device with an integrated high-performance power amplifier and SPDT switch. As a result, CI-ONE modules are approximately three times smaller, up to 50% less costly and up to 25% more efficient than conventional discrete PA + SPDT implementations.

CI-ONE targets applications including commercial high-throughput satellite communications, maritime and in-flight connectivity, defense multi-band systems and emergency response. The product family serves as a stepping-stone in CIH’s broader strategy to develop increasingly integrated semiconductor solutions for next-generation connectivity applications. The importance of positioning CI-ONE as the first commercial step in that broader roadmap was a central point of the funding discussion.
