Best Buy is throwing in a free gift card with the new MacBook Neo

Apple has only just announced the MacBook Neo, but we’ve already spotted a preorder deal that gives every customer a $25 Best Buy gift card when buying the $599 laptop.

The perks don’t end there, though. The deal also includes free Apple Music for up to three months and free Apple TV for two months, as well as access to Apple Arcade and iCloud Plus. These benefits are only available to new or returning subscribers, though.

Today’s best MacBook Neo deal

The MacBook Neo is a 13-inch laptop that boasts an A18 Pro chip, the same chip found in the iPhone 16 lineup of phones. With a 6‑core CPU, a 5‑core GPU, and 8GB of memory, the MacBook Neo is a basic laptop designed for budget-conscious shoppers.

Choose between 256GB and 512GB models, with a $100 difference between the two. The design “most closely resembles Apple’s classic wedge-design MacBook Air” and ships in a range of four sweet colors (blush, indigo, silver, and citrus).

Additional features include two USB-C ports, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and a headphone jack. The screen is a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, and Apple is claiming a 16-hour battery life. The MacBook Neo also has a Multi-Touch Trackpad and the Magic Keyboard.

Only time will tell whether the MacBook Neo makes it onto our list of the best laptops, but if you’re willing to put your trust in Apple and only have a limited budget, then this is a laptop deal worth closer inspection.
