The award extends more than two decades of ongoing engineering and technical support for the Navy’s mission-critical fuel infrastructure worldwide.
, /PRNewswire/ — APTIM, a leading environmental and infrastructure solutions firm with a long history of providing expertise and integrated solutions to federal defense agencies, has been selected for the US Department of the Navy’s $145M Global Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract for Architect-Engineer (A-E) Services.
Administered by the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC), the contract provides engineering and design services for POL systems and supporting facilities at Navy and Marine Corps installations worldwide. Work is scheduled through August 2031.
Since 2004, APTIM has supported NAVFAC EXWC across 128 POL task orders valued at more than $685M, including A-E services performed in support of construction and sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects. This experience gives APTIM a proven record of performance and institutional knowledge of NAVFAC’s fuel systems, standards, and operational priorities.
“We are honored to continue our longstanding partnership with NAVFAC EXWC and support the critical infrastructure that enables military readiness,” Brandon Haggard, Sr. Director of Engineering & Sciences, said. “This award reflects the trust NAVFAC EXWC and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy have placed in our team and the performance we have delivered over the past two decades. We are proud to deliver engineering solutions that strengthen fuel infrastructure, enhance operational resilience, and support mission success worldwide.”
This award builds on the momentum of APTIM’s recent selection as one of 10 prime contractors for NAVFAC EXWC’s $997M Global POL IDIQ Multiple Award Construction Contract. Under that 5-year vehicle, APTIM will compete for task orders supporting construction, maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, design, and engineering for pipelines, fuel storage tanks, and associated POL facilities and equipment worldwide.
Together, the two NAVFAC EXWC contracts position APTIM to apply its engineering, design, construction, maintenance, and repair expertise across the lifecycle of mission-critical fuel systems and storage infrastructure while supporting Navy, Marine Corps, and DLA Energy requirements worldwide.
