It wouldn’t be a normal Black Friday without any major deals on handheld gaming PCs, and two of my favorites happen to be in the mix of alluring deals. The Steam Deck LCD 256GB is now available for just $319.20 / £279.20 (previously $399 / £349), thanks to another generous 20% discount from Valve, saving you $79.80 / £69.80.

It doesn’t stop there, though: the Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Extreme is available for just $649.99 (previously $899.99) on Best Buy, with a significant $250 price drop.

I won’t sugarcoat it; my recommendation out of all choices here is definitely the Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Z1 Extreme, as this is going to provide you with the best performance among all of the options I’ve listed.

Since it’s currently only on sale in the US, I’d advise UK folks to opt for the Steam Deck LCD 256GB. While it’s certainly not as powerful as Ryzen Z1 Extreme handhelds, it’s still worthwhile at such a low price, and is more than capable of playing popular games like Cyberpunk 2077 when adjusting graphics settings.

That’s not to say that the Z2 Go model of the Legion Go S isn’t good, but I’d argue its price needs to drop slightly lower to tango with its rivals.
