These past few weeks, I’ve been trying out the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI as part of an in-progress product review. In my testing, I’ve found it excels in gaming, 3D workflows, and especially creative applications. I would recommend it for all these reasons – as well as the fact that you can now buy the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI at Best Buy for $1,549.99 (was $1,899.99).

With a 16-inch OLED display (240 Hz refresh rate), an Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32 GB RAM, and a 1 TB SSD, this is a seriously high-spec laptop that performs even under the most demanding of workflows.

Today’s best Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI deal

We’ve not carried out a full review of the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI but we did love the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 when we reviewed it in 2024. The 16S AI is a slimmer version of that model with a focus on AI performance and features.

The thinner and more lightweight design is a win for users craving on-the-go power. You can use this laptop at home, in the office, in a coffee shop, or anywhere you want.

The laptop includes 32 GB RAM, which, given the recent surge in memory prices, is a great inclusion. This, alongside the Intel Core Ultra 9 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, will keep everything flowing nicely.

The display is a 16-inch OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate. That means it’ll handle deep blacks like a pro, offer vibrant colors, and deliver buttery smooth graphics.

When you’re paying this amount of money, you’ll no doubt want to make sure you’re getting great value for money. To help you narrow your search, we’ve put together a guide to all the best gaming laptops.
